Ancient Rome

All Roads lead to Ancient Rome

Welcome to Ancient Rome!

My name is Claudio Oriani and I am an enthusiastic licensed tour guide.

I graduated in Archaeology in 1997 and I fed my lifelong passion with several guided tours for groups and individuals and through many trips to European cities and archaeological sites in countries such as Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, Mexico, and many more.

Classical Archaeology is my specialty, so I would like to take you on a virtual journey through time.

On this site you will find classic and must-see itineraries as well as little-known places, true hidden gems far from the usual tourist circuits.

I have been an authorized tour guide since 2009 (registration no. 12000368).

Whether you are archaeology enthusiasts or simply curious, take a seat, explore the itineraries proposed on this site, and fasten your seatbelt because the time machine is about to take off!
